The educational system in Russia is similar to the European and American educational systems:

The student teacher ratio is 10:1.

Tuition Fees – Education in Russia is subsidized by the state and government of Russia. Most of the institutions charge affordable tuition fees to the tune of 3000$- 6000$ per year. Compared to western countries, the tuition fee in Russian institutions are reasonable. Thus, in Russia every student gets a chance to fulfill their dreams and reach their goal.

The Russian medical degrees have topped WHO and UNESCO ranking and have got global recognition. About 30 positions are occupied by the Russian Medical Universities in World Ranking and The Russian Federation has some of the finest medical Universities. The Indian students seeking admission are admitted in those institutions which are recognized by World Health Organization and Medical Council of India.

Universities Central Library has a literature with about millions of volumes in many foreign languages as well as specialize libraries of the faculties, and is of free access to students.

September 1st is the official beginning of the academic year in Russia. As far as the structure of the academic year is concerned, it consists of two terms. The first term is September 1st - January 25th and so there are seventeen academic weeks and two examination weeks during this period. On the second week of February the second academic term begins. It consists of 18 academic weeks and 3 examination weeks. So academic year in Russia finishes on June 30. Most students have summer holidays during July and August.

For Undergraduate course

As per the requirement of the Medical Council of India candidate should be 17 years old and above with 50% marks in the Physics / Chemistry / Biology in the 12th standard, for medical course. There is no sort of entrance exam and the admissions are strictly without any donation.

For Medical Postgraduate studies

He/ She should have a Bachelor's degree from a Recognized University. The University reserves the right of selection on an individual basis depending upon his I her previous academic performance

To make students’ life comfortable at the University, University offer free of charge halls for gymnastics, handball, basketball and football grounds. Tennis courts and pools are also open in the campus. An International post-office, a telephone centre, a shopping centre, some restaurants offering dishes of national cuisine of different countries, an international student cultural centre, and a computer centre are situated within the campus.
